Who can come to Trinity Youth?
Trinity Youth is for everyone in school years 7 to 12. It’s a chance for youth members of Trinity Churches to meet one and get to hang out with other Christian teens from across our network. Trinity Youth is always a safe space to bring friends who aren’t Christians to come and find out a bit more about Jesus and meet your youth mates. If you’re from another church or youth group, you’re most welcome to join in for a night too!
When does Trinity Youth meet?
Trinity Youth meets once per term on a Friday evening from 7pm until 9pm. The dates are listed on our Schedule page.
What does a normal night at Trinity Youth look like?
There’s a bit of variety to our normal nights! We’ve got a good amount of time to connect with other youth from the Trinity Network over games, food and running around! At 7:30pm, we all pile into the main hall for singing and hearing about who Jesus is. We finish all the large group activities at about 8:45pm, with time to chill before going home at 9pm.
What happens on the weeks when there’s no Trinity Youth?
Each Trinity Church runs their own Bible study groups for youth. Please contact your local Trinity Church to ask for more details.
Where does Trinity Youth meet?
Trinity Youth meets at Temple Christian College, 2 Henley Beach Road, Mile End.
How do my kids get to and from the venue?
Each Trinity Church has a different plan for getting youth to and from Temple Christian College, so please contact your local Trinity Church to ask about transport to Trinity Youth.
If I drive my kids to the venue, where do I drop them off?
Entry to Temple Christian College is via the glass doors on James Congdon Drive (look for the black and white youth banner outside). There will be a ‘kiss and drop’ area on Henley Beach Road. Parking is available near Temple Christian College on the parkland side of James Congdon Drive.
Does Trinity Youth cost money?
Yes, Trinity Youth costs $5 per night (cash or card payable at the entrance).
Do I need to register my child for Trinity Youth?
Yes, if your child participates in any youth ministry activities in the Trinity Network you will need to complete our youth registration form. Talk to your Trinity Church to find out what the registration requirements are, as these vary from church to church.
Are mobile phones allowed?
Yes, but we’ll be encouraging youth to only use them for contacting parents.
Who leads Trinity Youth?
Trinity Youth is led by a number of leaders from around the Trinity Network. Every Trinity Youth event is led by the same core team of leaders, with local Trinity Church leaders also in attendance to assist in caring for our youth. All our leaders are child safe approved, with volunteers being required to complete accreditation appropriate to their involvement with children.
